Born in Muslim ruled Cordoba in 825 to Muslim parents; when father died, mother married a Christian who converted her. Educated Christianly, Natalia married Aurelius, the orphaned son of a Muslim father and Christian mother, secretly raised Christian in by his aunt. After attending the martyrdom of believers, convicted to no longer hide their faith and bravely practice it in public to encourage other Christians – including the women unveiling their faces. Leaving two young daughters at a monastery, arrested as apostates of Islam. Refusing to recant their faith, beheaded in 852 AD along with a friend and Jerusalem monk, George, who openly criticized the prophet Mohammed. Patron of converts, martyrs
