Born and worked in the early 5th c. in Reggio, Italy. She was a disciple of St. Prosper and received instruction from him in the eremitical (hermit) life. As a hermit, choose to retire from society, primarily for religious reasons (Crucifix) and live in solitude. A virgin (laurel) martyr (palm), she died in 466 AD.
