Born in 972 to Duke Henry of Bavaria and the Princess of Burgundy, educated in his youth by St Wolfgang of Regensberg with lessons of charity and piety. Inherited the throne in 1002 as Germany’s king who would lead and defend Europe’s Holy Roman Empire as its head, appointed by Pope Benedict VIII in 1014. A monarch who led his earthly kingdom without losing sight of the Kingdom of God, encouraging German bishops to reform Church practices with Canon law. Married to St. Cunigunde of Luxembourg but without heirs, he was a great patron of churches and monasteries, donating his wealth to the poor. Died of illness in 1024.

Made of wood, felt, ribbon, and handmade accessories. Includes tag and card with Saint's biography and description. Approximately 4" tall. Packaged in cellophane bag. Shipped in box with bubble wrap.
