Born in 1381 to aging parents who prayed to St. Nicholas for a child, and thus was named after him in gratitude. Called to a vocation, she was received visions from St. Francis (including 3 days of blindness and 3 days mute) to reform the Poor Clares returning to its original ideals of absolute poverty, including bare feet and perpetual fasting; Pope Benedict XIII approved and a branch is still known as the Colettines. Legend of her wrapping a stillborn baby in her veil which was taken to the priest, revived and baptized. She helped St. Vincent Ferrer heal the papal schism. Patron of women seeking to conceive, expectant mothers and sick children.

Made of wood, felt, ribbon, and handmade accessories. Includes tag and card with Saint's biography and description. Approximately 4" tall. Packaged in cellophane bag. Shipped in box with bubble wrap.
