Born in 1984 in Rome, grew up in the faith, attending Charismatic Renewal prayer meetings with her mother where she learned how to turn to Jesus as a friend and share the faith with others. Met her husband Enrico on a pilgrimage to Medjugorje, married in September 2008. Soon pregnant, they found out their baby girl had severe malformations; choosing to continue the pregnancy, baby Maria died less 30 minutes after her birth on June 10, 2009. Pregnant a few months later, their baby boy Davide was also diagnosed with severe malformations and missing his legs; he too died not long after birth on June 24, 2010. A week after news of her third pregnancy, she felt something on her tongue. The tumor was surgically removed but she refused cancer treatment until after their healthy baby boy Francesco was born. Soon after she was terminal and prepared herself and her family for her encounter with Christ, receiving the Sacraments daily. With faithfulness to God and a deep joy, died on June 13, 2012.
